Nine Peaks Solutions, a technology consulting firm, celebrates two years in business in Bend helping companies work smarter and efficient. They specialize in creating paperless processes and implementing and maintaining human resource systems for corporations, nonprofits, banking and lending, wealth management, and government. Headquartered in Old Mill, Nine Peaks includes clients across the country –Interstate Roofing in Portland, City of Elizabeth in New Jersey, the Mental Health Center of Denver, and SJE-Rhombus, a manufacturing company in Minnesota.

“With a 90% failure rate in startups, celebrating two years is an important milestone.” Said Eric Skidmore, owner of Nine Peaks.

Nine Peaks was founded by Eric, a longtime Bend resident, with nearly 40 years in the information technology business. The company includes a ten-member consortium of local and regional talent including content managers, database programmers, and support staff. Eric believes each team member is a “Tech Sherpa”, helping companies achieve peak performance through technology.

“I started this firm with the desire to help companies work better and grow their business. I work with small to large-size firms that have heavy paper processes and help them go paperless. This saves them time and money. It’s a lot of fun and so rewarding seeing how technology can bring joy to mundane processes.” said Eric.

Nine Peaks is an authorized reseller of Laserfiche, an enterprise content management and paperless workflow system. The tool provides a five step Digital Transformation Model for transforming offices into a digital workplace. You’re able to start small by digitizing documents and work up to a fully automated process. Nine Peaks is also a designated partner with Microsoft, Epson, DocuSign, and SIGNiX. They have more than 30 years of CORT and NuView payroll and human resource application experience.

Nine Peaks believes in giving back to their community and supports Central Oregon Veterans Outreach, Bethlehem Inn, BrightSide Animal Center, and Oregon Future Business Leaders of America. Nine Peak’s owner, Eric Skidmore, currently serves on the Bend City Economic Development Resources (CEDR) Subcommittee.
